If a receipt is produce for a consolidated gift entry in error how do we resolve this issue using the reverse and reissue function in RE?

My first guess is how the batch numbers were searched by the software. Some programs/software settings seem to sort 210 as greater than 1900. I guess looking only at first digit. If that's the situation, any batch # greater than 19 may have been read. :-) Have seen this happen when I've sorted...
