  • Pledge Payments don't match installment due

When a donor does not pay the amount of the installment due, what is the recommend procedure for adjusting the schedule? For instance, payment due was $1000, but only $300 was sent. Another paid $5000 for a $2,000 installment due amount. Thanks for any advice.

  • Re: Pledge Reminder Letters

Pledge reminders was my first thought also. Unfortunately to get what you want will still take some manipulation but would still be easier than "20 or so query merges". Even if you had to run 4 separate reminders in Mail for each of your letters. Do donors select a due date for payments or...

  • Pledge Reminder Letters

We're trying to implement a new monthly pledge reminder system for our phonathon pledges. Our student phonathon caller fills out an initial form when the donor pledges over the phone which would serve as their first reminder. However, we would like the rest of the system to be fairly automated. Here...

  • Re: Pledge Reminders Rate of Return

LOL, I would love to see some stats. Last several months I've asked exec about sending another reminder to some people. I'd love to go quarterly for ones that are significantly past due. We also send monthly reminders with a return section that allows for payment by credit card if desired and...

  • Pledge Reminders Rate of Return

Hi all, We are trying to assess our pledge reminder system and so I am looking for some hard evidence to analyze how effective pledge reminders are. Since we haven't been tracking the rate of return on these, we were wondering if any other organization has those statistics or if there are "industry...

  • Pledges/Split Gift Strategy over 5 years

We are beginning a 5-year campaign and are looking for best practices in gift entry. Our campaign allows constituents to make a pledge that can be split between both Annual fund and Endowment over that 5-year period. Should pledges be entered in one gift record as a split gift (to each campaign with...

  • Re: Pledge Reports with Current Solicitor

We haven't had to 'get around this' this as this isn't part of our solicitor's responsibilities. If I was trying to get the info, I think I'd use the Reminder function in Mail > Reminder type: Create custom data file - per pledge. You can export lists out to excel or your format...

  • Pledge Reports with Current Solicitor

My solicitors want to be able to see when their assigned people fall behind on commitments or have installments due soon so that we can be more proactive about working with the donors instead of just sending reminders. I have looked at a ton of reports but some don't have solicitor as an optional...

  • Re: Pledge reminders - excluding early payers on installments due

Couple thoughts: You could possibly do separate reminders for those with current payments due and those with past payments. We send custom reminders (per pledge) at the first of month for all payments coming due that month and also those with past due payments. In my export, it show when payment was...

  • How to identify a contact who is to receive the pledge reminder

I would like to know the best way to identify the contact who is to receive the pledge reminder when I process pledge reminders in RE:Mail? I have been looking at individual attributes - but if the contact is the secondary contact and I also need to send reminders to primary contacts for other organizations...
