• Re: Cleanup - Phone numbers/Sharing on Indiv/Org records

Lynn, I also don't know that we could set a 'policy' for this. As Melissa, said there are just too many exceptions with how people prefer to be contacted, changes, etc. If it will work for you, go for it. Wish you the best in doing this

  • Business information on BIO1

Hi, I am cleaning up data existing pre-my time at the school and I see that in almost all cases the Phone – Business and Email – Business contact information has been entered on BIO1 instead of on the Business tab. The only reason I’ve been given when asking the question as to why this info resides on...

  • Re: Cell Phone As Main Phone Number

Great question - seeing more and more "no land line" families. Hope you'll still receive some great suggestions. Until very recently in our area we were able tell most cell phone # from land line # by the prefix. But quickly see that changing too. Only thought I have so far is another phone...

  • Cell Phone As Main Phone Number
Can you share best practices for how to handle bad phone numbers? Do you delete the number or code? What do you call it, if you code it?
I just created phone type for this last month. We had been deleting occassional 'bad' numbers. I got a...

Does anyone have any suggestions for best practices on email types? Do you suggest breaking down to Email 1, Email 2, Email 3 or Home 1, Home 2, Home 3, Work 1, Work 2, Work 3? Thanks so much for your help.
