Helen, ditto what other's have posted. If I have no valid mailing address, I'll change address type to 'previous address', uncheck send mail, add date and check the 'no valid address' box. But for this situation, not the 'is inactive' box. If you got something from them...

Hmm - so it looks like I'm going to have to put a process in place to check for records linked to EE that have been marked as No Valid Address in RE - and manually do the annotation. I'll also mark the address using an attribute - although that doesn't always seem to stick when I run export...

I'm doing some address clean up - and have stumbled across a conundrum. I have non-custodial parent addresses that have mail being returned. Can't get an updated address from the spouse. So - rather than delete the record, we've marked them in Raiser's Edge as "has no valid address"...
