Hello all, is anyone currently using the planned gift tracker and tracking realized revenue in RE? This is something we're probably about to do but I'm not 100% sure about some of the technical aspects of it. For example, how do you exclude realized revenue from any financial reports you produce...

When your organization receives a bequest from someone's estate, do you put the gift on the deceased person's constituent record, or do you create a new record for the estate and put it there (and maybe soft credit it back to the person)? Interested to know everyone's thoughts! Thanks!

Our parent organization administers several annuities for us and we receive a % reevaluation on each of them at our fiscal year end.
