  • bequests (estate gifts): Which constituent record?

    When your organization receives a bequest from someone's estate, do you put the gift on the deceased person's constituent record, or do you create a new record for the estate and put it there (and maybe soft credit it back to the person)? Interested to know everyone's thoughts! Thanks!
