  • Deleting large group of constituents

Several months ago, an import was done that ended up to have a significant percentage of bad addresses. Basically what we want to do is start over, get rid of all of those constituents and import a new list known to have correct addresses. Our organization is farily new to importing, but I know that...

  • Re: My query has duplicate rows, how to select distinct info? Thanks

Sometimes it's easy to figure out why there are duplicate rows (looking at gifts and donor has more than one or output field has potential for more than one entry - ex: phone, attribute, code) and other times it's a challenge. • Duplicate records after conversion to Student Billing 7

We just converted to Student Billing 7 and now have hundreds of duplicate records in the database. • Re: How do I check for duplicates...

If you use the gift ID field, you could just pull a query with the "gift date between" for the time period you need to look in and output the gift ID and export this to access and run a query there to find duplicates. Then you can manually correct if there aren't too many. If you don't...

  • How do I check for duplicates...

We have a group of gifts which may have been entered twice. We're in the midst of a staff change and gift entry is split between me and another person. I found at least (1) tribute for a gift which had already been entered. I only checked because I am familiar with this constituent's giving history...

  • Re: Organization and Individual

Ah I see how what I wrote is confusing. In the Event Module, when you have an organization attending an event you have the ability to specify a Contact (via a drop down in the Partcipant/Registrant window). The individual relationship should be marked/checked as a Contact in order for the name to appear...
