I am trying to create labels based on a query. We have a program at this organization and each constituent involved in the program has an entry under the 'Bio2' tab/Constituent Codes. I have tried running the Query using the Constituent Code and I also tried using the Constituent Description...

  • Constituency Codes: Reports, Dates to and from, Gift Constituency Codes

I have lots of questions about Constituency Codes and how other people use them. I have rarely used them for reports, with the exception of Board reports, but have very recently discovered that others in my organization use them regularly for that purpose. I found myself having to redo a series of 10...

  • Re: Constituency codes...

Our procedure is simial to Karen's. I plug in an end date on the address tab. I like Special mailing attribute. I would not change constituent code. Their constituency - board, alumni, staff whatever you use - is not what's changing. It's just that address is not valid, or supposedly not...

  • Re: Gift Constituency Codes

We also use the gift type field for a report on our annual fund at the request of our Exec as constit codes did get the breakout we needed. We didn't want to change/add constit codes that he wanted the gifts listed by and next...

  • Re: Auto-generated ID numbers

We are starting from scratch and have never used any ID number to designate our constituents. I am going to be importing data from a CSV file format into Raisers Edge, so I wanted to make sure I read the KnowledgeBase article correctly that if you do not have an Import ID, the system will automatically...

  • Re: Constituent Codes vs Attributes

Hi Lori, The way it's been explained to me in a user group meeting is that a Constituent Code is what the constituent's relationship is to the organization (why s/he is in the database - board member, etc.), and an Attribute is a descriptor of the constituent. Hope this helps. Chris

  • Re: Constituency Codes and best practices

Martha, With all due respect to Melissa who is very knowledgeable on RE, there are those of us who out there who do use a constit code of 'Donor.' We do, as that is the primary relationship/reason many of our constituents are in RE. For those in RE, we hope to have a donors in the future we use...
