Re: Conditional Mail Merge - Letter Criteria
Sometimes the letters are not created because of simple things...how many letters do you have? Try just moving the letters to the top of the list. Also, check to see that they are all formatted exactly the same. Hope a simple answer helps. Ann

Re: Conditional Mail Merge - Letter Criteria
I would use a gift query, gift type = pledge, gift date = your date range. I a bit confused from all the postings if you are exporting data to merge in Word or actualling using RE mail function with a conditional merge. If you need a query for each letter, then add gift amount = xxxx.

Using different letterhead in a conditional merge
Hi - I just wanted to double check that it is impossible to run a conditional merge if I have different headers/footers for each letter. Some of our events have their own letterhead but when I merge the conditional merge it seems to take the header/footer from the 1st page and apply it to all instead...

Using solicit codes as the Conditional Field
Can someone just confirm that I can't use solicit code as my conditional field in a donor acknowledgement conditional mail merge? It seems ridiculous to me that I should have to add a do not solicit attribute to everyone with the do not solicit solicit code in order to send out seperate thank you...

Constituent Corner: Creating Letters in Configuration
The Raiser's Edge works well in bulk. When you need to create a mailing for groups of constituents, Mail and Export offer you plenty of options. There are times where a more surgical approach is called for, when only a single letter is necessary for a constituent (or gift or action), in which case...

Consolidate Receipts
We are currently running a 3-year capital campaign, which includes an employee giving component. Beginning in July, 2008, employees had the ability to pledge to the campaign, and have their pledges deducted from payroll over the next 3 years. As it is now the end of the year, I am preparing tax receipts...
