When you receive a Matching Gift Check what appeal do you assign to it? Should it receive the same appeal as the originating gift from the donor who initiated the match or should it receive a different appeal? Also curious what appeals you are assigning to the MG Pledge.

Can someone give me some tips on how they handle matching gift companies and appeals? When you enter a gift in for a constituent who has a matching gift company, do you also add the appeal that the constituent is reponding to to the matching gift company's record?
