I was just curious as to how everyone handles their grant tracking in Raisers Edge. I was thinking specifically about scanning outgoing grants, and wondering if there are any actions I might want to use, such as scheduling reminders for grant reports. Any advice is welcome!

My Accounting Department does not want me to enter Federal Government Grants as pledges in Raiser's Edge because we only receive the funds as reimbursements after we have already spent the money. She sets up a receivable for them in Accounting but I need to be able to track them in Raiser's Edge...

I am now tracking grants in RE7. Is it better to do that thru actions. I will need to report out dates, amounts and due dates, and the like. I do not have a prospect tab no the project module. I believe these are extra costs. I only need to track about 20 a year.
