  • Unique Emails...

Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of enforcing unique emails in NetCommunity (or any other such type software)? We've been advised to not require unique emails but are unsure of the ramifications. It appears to me and co-workers that to not require these would only muddy up the already muddy water...

  • NetMail: 'Invalid Email Recipient' not actually invalid

My organization sends membership renewal emails using NetMail and e-newsletters through another service. While comparing the click-through rates between the two services recently, I noticed that some member email addresses which are returning opens, click-throughs, and donations from the other service's...

  • Re: Netsolutions - The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

The reply we use for an event registration is simply an acknowledgement that they are now registered and how much their credit card was charged. We state that they will receive an official acknowledgement by mail. The only ugly that I find in NetDonors is the design package. The page is not customizeable...

  • Re: RE and Constant Contact: advice

Ariel- Did you ever figure anything out for getting RE to play nice with Constant Contact? We've got NetMail from Blackbaud which is, of course, very well intergrated with RE. However, it can only send to constituents in RE. We're looking to work with MailChimp, but are having difficulty working...

  • Netmail for Membership Renewal Notices

Does anyone on the forum use Netmail for sending membership renewal notices? I am currently testing this for the first time and hit a snag. It seems you can only use a Constituent type export to pull your chosen people. I would like to mention the appropriate membership (some members have more than one...

  • NetMail for NetSolutions Membership Renewals

We are just getting started on designing eRenewals for the Baltimore Museum of Art. We currently use NetSolutions and we were hoping to have a template designed that will give us a modern (ha!) edge, continues in the brand of the museum, but is easily distiguishable from the eNews. Does anyone have any...

  • Emailing Parents via FAWeb

We have NetMail up and running but before we give the teachers a lesson on how to email parents I wanted to set up some policies for usage. Has anyone defined any policies for your school concerning how many emails per month, the types of this to email, etc.?

  • NetSolutions/NetEvents Feedback

Most of our donations are via phone or mail at this time and we would like to look at what other clients thoughts are on the cost of doing credit card (IATS) transactions and event registrations via NetSolutions/NetEvents. I would like to request the pros and cons of using NetSolutions & NetEvents...

  • Mail Musings: Mass (Email) Hysteria!

Email has made it easier to reach out and touch someone . In The Raiser's Edge, emails are stored as phone numbers on constituent records. You can mark a phone type as an email address and email constituents from their individual records. You can also use these email addresses to send emails to groups...

  • Connect with Students and Parents Through Email

After enjoying the retirement life for two years, my dad decided to return to teaching this year. Today was his first day with students, and I know he's excited, but it can also be a bit overwhelming to get going with the school year again (especially after having a substantial break from teaching...
