A requirement type is like a requirement category. It is used to group similar requirements under the same umbrella. For example, you can create requirement type called Math. You also have an Algebra requirement and a Geometry requirement. These can both be associated with the Math requirement type.

I am looking for any assistance on getting set up for the graduation requirements module. I am not sure if it is better to have many sub groups under each general requirment. I am at a school with a lot of transfer students, so I have to take into consideration the number of students fullfilling requirements...
