&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;We are experiencing a problem with the Flash slide show that we want to put
on our home page. Flash show contains two&amp;nbsp;SWF files. The first one shows the
images and rotates through them and other one plays YouTube videos if you click
on the slide image. I successfully created a flash part and it looked great
and&amp;nbsp;whenever I updated the xml file (that controls the show) it worked fine.
Only&amp;nbsp;part that didn&amp;#39;t work is playing the YouTube video. Somehow&amp;nbsp;the first SWF
slide show doesn&amp;#39;t seem to&amp;nbsp;connect to the second&amp;nbsp;SWF file.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Someone suggested that I should implement the show through a formatted text
and images part, so I pasted the following&amp;nbsp;code into one, using swfobject.js to
make it work:&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font color="#800080"&gt;&amp;lt;script&amp;nbsp;language=&amp;quot;javascript&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;src=&amp;quot;http://www.foundation.fsu.edu/main/Scripts/swfobject.js&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;type=&amp;quot;text/javascript&amp;quot;&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;lt;/script&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;lt;div&amp;nbsp;id=&amp;quot;TableHomeFlash&amp;quot;&amp;gt;&amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;You&amp;nbsp;need&amp;nbsp;to&amp;nbsp;upgrade&amp;nbsp;your&lt;br /&gt;Flash&amp;nbsp;Player&amp;lt;/strong&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;This&amp;nbsp;is&amp;nbsp;replaced&amp;nbsp;by&amp;nbsp;the&amp;nbsp;Flash&amp;nbsp;content.&lt;br /&gt;Place&amp;nbsp;your&amp;nbsp;alternate&amp;nbsp;content&amp;nbsp;here&amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp;users&amp;nbsp;without&amp;nbsp;the&amp;nbsp;Flash&amp;nbsp;plugin&amp;nbsp;or&lt;br /&gt;with&amp;nbsp;Javascript&amp;nbsp;turned&amp;nbsp;off&amp;nbsp;will&amp;nbsp;see&amp;nbsp;this.&amp;nbsp;Content&amp;nbsp;here&amp;nbsp;allows&amp;nbsp;you&amp;nbsp;to&lt;br /&gt;leave&amp;nbsp;out&amp;nbsp;&amp;lt;code&amp;gt;noscript&amp;lt;/code&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;tags.&amp;nbsp;Include&amp;nbsp;a&amp;nbsp;link&amp;nbsp;to&lt;br /&gt;&amp;lt;a&amp;nbsp;href=&amp;quot;swfobject.html?detectflash=false&amp;quot;&amp;gt;bypass&amp;nbsp;the&lt;br /&gt;detection&amp;lt;/a&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;if&amp;nbsp;you&amp;nbsp;wish.&amp;nbsp;&amp;lt;/div&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;lt;script&amp;nbsp;type=&amp;quot;text/javascript&amp;quot;&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;/*&amp;nbsp;&amp;lt;![CDATA[&amp;nbsp;*/&lt;br /&gt;var&amp;nbsp;so&amp;nbsp;=&amp;nbsp;new&lt;br /&gt;SWFObject(&amp;quot;http://www.mydomain.org/slideshow/HomePageImageRotation.swf&amp;quot;,&lt;br /&gt;&amp;quot;TableHomeFlash&amp;quot;,&amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;908&amp;quot;,&amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;345&amp;quot;,&amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;6&amp;quot;,&amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;#336699&amp;quot;);&lt;br /&gt;so.addParam(&amp;quot;wmode&amp;quot;,&amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;transparent&amp;quot;);&lt;br /&gt;so.write(&amp;quot;TableHomeFlash&amp;quot;);&lt;br /&gt;/*&amp;nbsp;]]&amp;gt;*/&lt;br /&gt;&amp;lt;/script&amp;gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;The primary SWF works well enough, but&amp;nbsp;I am still having the same problem
where the linked YouTube video does not work.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;The third thing I tried was to put it all into a frame part.&amp;nbsp; Everything
works great except that the menu part drops its menus beneath the frame!&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;I have two questions: &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;1 - What is the best method to put up a multiple SWF flash project? &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;2 - How can I make the menus drop-down on top of the Frame part instead of
under it?&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Thanks,&lt;/div&gt;

Looking at this link http://www.companyname.com/NetCommunity/Document.Doc?id=405 it was hosted on our server in the public space when in fact it should be out of view to the public.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;How can I find out which page or part has doc?id=405 on it? That way I can go to the part or page and set viewing rights. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description></item><item><title>Re: Creating bio pages for faculty in Netcommunity</title><link>http://forums.blackbaud.com/forums/p/11689/41830.aspx#41830</link><pubDate>Wed, 27 May 2009 18:21:21 GMT</pubDate><guid isPermaLink="false">f90a95a0-00e2-4810-8af8-0bbdde08f853:41830</guid><dc:creator>5f7a2d72-5a9a-4c9d-a5e2-590a48ca1bab</dc:creator><description>&lt;p&gt;We have a faculty directory on our site that we use instead of bio pages. BBNC will only link to the individual&amp;#39;s primary address in EE (which for us is the home address). Because we wanted to list the work/office address we solved the issue by entering the work address as an attribute in EE. You can pull faculty-specific attributes onto the directory display part in BBNC. It&amp;#39;s a little awkward setting it up&amp;nbsp;at first, but so far it&amp;#39;s working for us. You could also enter text fields for your directory display, but attributes are limited to 250 characters.&lt;/p&gt;</description></item><item><title>BBNet: Website / Newsletter, lots of questions!</title><link>http://forums.blackbaud.com/forums/p/10274/37443.aspx#37443</link><pubDate>Mon, 13 Oct 2008 13:43:30 GMT</pubDate><guid isPermaLink="false">f90a95a0-00e2-4810-8af8-0bbdde08f853:37443</guid><dc:creator>396eb7a0-0c00-457d-95aa-f835b8b0fb6f</dc:creator><description>&lt;p&gt;Hello everyone,&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;I&amp;#39;m new to BBNet, and I&amp;#39;ve been hired to create a newsletter.&amp;nbsp; This newsletter will also have an online portion, as it will cover many news stories.&amp;nbsp; It will also need to be easy to edit with those not entirely familiar with code.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;I&amp;#39;ve worked on other newsletters before with applications to make html newsletters, but this system seems odd to me.&amp;nbsp; I was trying to make it easy by using a weblog part on the website, so admins could add news stories... which seems to be okay.&amp;nbsp; The first question I have about this is:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;Can you edit the CSS of weblog parts&amp;nbsp;to make it coexist with your website?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The other issue I am having is the unavailability of parts to be added to newsletter pieces.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Will I have to edit every newsletter via HTML for the website and newsletter to appear identical?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m trying to find a round-about way of solving this problem, which I&amp;#39;ll probably be able to do on my own anyway, but I thought I would see if the forums had any ideas first.&lt;/p&gt;</description></item><item><title>CSS problem with AJAX custom parts</title><link>http://forums.blackbaud.com/forums/p/8219/29220.aspx#29220</link><pubDate>Wed, 27 Feb 2008 13:07:21 GMT</pubDate><guid isPermaLink="false">f90a95a0-00e2-4810-8af8-0bbdde08f853:29220</guid><dc:creator>8E7E31EC-E24D-48A3-88ED-71506D0F776F</dc:creator><description>&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m not sure how many people are doing this. We are experiencing some
CSS issues with the Login and Menu part when we have a custom part with
a collapsible panel extender control on that page.&lt;br /&gt;
it makes the text really small and unreadable. the same menu and login
parts look find on pages that don&amp;#39;t have a custom part with a
collapsible panel extender control&lt;br /&gt;
has anyone else seen this?&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;
