Installation fails

Error 1935 An error occurred during the installation of assembly component. This happens when installation a fresh copy of Raiser's Edge 7.91 on Windows Server 2003. No problems when installing on clients. Couldn't find any information in the knowledge base about this error.

Getting a "Runtime Error" when doing simple mail merge

I am trying to do a simple mail merge and keep getting a message "runtime error! program: c:\program file\microsoft office\office\winword.exe and then the merge fails. I spoke with Blackbaud, they advised me to re-install MS Office which I've done (twice) and still keep getting the same error. I'm using MS Office XP 2002 and wondering if there could be an issue with that. Has anyone else run across this?

Basic Import Error message

I am doing a constituent attribute import and I am getting the following message" The Import ID field is required to Update existing records" ..... I do have the import ID on my file and it is mapped on the fields tab. Might anyone know why I am receiving this message?

Remove any blank rows on the Fields tab in the Import.

OR

In Administration, Import Records, create a new import parameter set.

Using an ISA server for NetCommunity

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has used an ISA server in their hardware setup? I know Blackbaud do not support this option, but unfortunately the only way we could deliver the project was by using an ISA server. Has anyone else done this? We are facing some serious problems regarding the time it takes for a page to load, it would be very helpful to find out if anyone else using an ISA server has faced this and how you resolved the problem.

Had this problem some time ago. Ended up contacting support. If I remember correctly they had to do a plug in to correct issue.

Issues with Internet Explorer 8.0.6001

After an automatic update through Windows, my version of Internet Explorer was updated to 8.0.6001.

Now the top menu of NC will not display menu items - hovering/clicking reveals the box that should contain the links, but there's just empty space.

Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone from Blackbaud know about this problem?

Commitment report not printing and applying to constituent record

We enter gifts through batch and on a few occasions in the last few months, although we have "committed" a batch and it appears to have been committed, the gifts within that batch have not "applied" into the constituents' records.

Anyone know what may be happening here?

Credit card problems Online donors are reporting

During this last holiday season we have received a lot of calls from donors reporting they were getting a lot of errors when trying to donate or register for events online: The errors were related to their credit card not being accepted for one reason or another mostly related to address issues.

Specifically the largest error code being generated was REJ 43 which has to do with the zip code. We do have the zip code and security code options set.

These options were set back in August so this is the first year we have had them set up and compared to last year its a 100% spike in issues.

How many are experiencing this problem?

Do you think it is the card processing system Blackbaud is using? IATS Ticketmaster.

Does anyone have any experience from other card processing systems that can give a comparison?

For reference we are a Hosted system using RE Enterprise with the latest BBNC integration.
