Blackbaud's APIs and PHP

Has anyone here had success working with the any of Blackbaud's APIs using PHP?

I'm trying to integrate our PHP based website with the SIS API, but I'm running into some issues doing everything I need. Because Blackbaud doesn't "offically" support anything other than VB, its been difficult to find any useful documentation. So I was curious if anyone has add any success using PHP.

SIS API with PHP

Does anyone have any experience accessing the SIS API with PHP? Or any Blackbaud API with PHP for that matter? If so, I'm running into a few "bumps in the road" and I'm hoping someone could offer some advise. Particularly with the PHP COM class.
I searched online and found a code snippet where someone used PHP with the RE API (http://www.blackbus.org/forum/api-vba/3662-using-raisers-edge-api-integration-w-web-app.html), but haven't found much beyond that.

Customization of NetClassroom functionality?

Hello,

We really need a way for students to indicate their desired enrollment type online... ideally through the same place they are already registering for courses: NetClassroom.

Blackbaud support indicated that there was currently no way for students to do this, so we're looking into the possibility doing it ourselves.

Has anyone out there looked at adding custom functionality directly into NetClassroom?

eReceipts in Custom Donation Form

Hi all,

I've made a couple of custom donation forms based on the excellent example Michael Andrews gave about a year ago:

However, I can't get the eReceipt functionality to work.
On my custom donation form, I have a "<bbnc:HTMLEditor>" and "<bbnc:EmailEditor>" part that are working fine. The HTMLEditor displays a thank you message after the donation form has been submitted, and the EmailEditor sends the acknowledgment email.

In both of these editors, I would like to include a link to the eReceipt, and have attempted this (the merge fields exist for this), but the eReceipt url gets generated and leaves off the key at the end.

For example, a "healthy" looking eReceipt url looks like this:
http://mysitehere.com/NetCommunity/Components/EReceipt.ashx?key=3VvTfbF3PUeyKfhVfKRn

And the one I am seeing generated from my custom donation form looks like this:
http://mysitehere.com/NetCommunity/Components/EReceipt.ashx?key=

I am imagining there is something else I need to "turn on" for this custom donation form that allows eReceipts, but I can't figure out where or how.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi, I am starting to write a .NET web service to wrap the Raisers Edge API. My intent is to install the API (or Raisers Edge in full) on my developer PC so that I can refer to the API COM objects locally. 1) Is there a way to install just the RE API or must I install Raisers Edge completely (and then unlock the API)? 2) When creating a WCF Service Application in Visual Studio 9 I can specify what version of .NET Framework to use/comply with, the options are .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0 or 3.5; what version of .NET is the RE API compliant with? QueryPicker in BBNC API does not return name

Hi all,

I'm using the QueryPicker from BBNCExtensions.ServerControls, and I'm having trouble getting the name back from it.
Here's the code on the display page:

Here's the code on the code page:
[CODE]oProperties.QueryName = queryPicker.QueryName[/CODE]

(I obviously removed a bunch of stuff...)
For some reason I can't get a value to come back from queryPicker.QueryName, but I definitely get a value back from queryPicker.QueryID.

Any ideas?

Raiser's Edge Integration with Auction, by Auction Systems

Does anyone use both Raiser’s Edge and the “Auction” product from Auction Systems? If so, do you integrate the information from Auction into Raiser’s Edge? If you integrate the info, is your integration process manual or automated? If automated, how have you approached doing this, RE API, Plug Ins, Import etc?

I have done many sorts of integrations previously with content management systems. These usually involve transfering data to and from the content management system to and from The Raiser's Edge. If you have the API module then this can be done in realtime otherwise the most common method is using a plug-in that retrieves data from the ECM and puts it in RE and vice versa.
