We are doing this at Wycliffe, and I actually built the server in the Summer, but due to issues with our Serenic NAV upgrade to NAV 5.02, RE was sent to the back burner.

We have reprioritized the RE upgrade now, and it is back at the top of the list...though NAV is still working through the bugs and issues.

Have any of you completed this upgrade, or are any of you doing this now, or are contemplating doing this soon?

I would like to touch base with you and see what you dealt with and maybe get some good tips. :-) Also, how did it all work with your existing Crystal Reports?

Among the columns my boss wants to see on the report are total pledge amount, pledge balance, and the delinquency amount. The delinquency amount is where it gets a little tricky since there is no "delinquency" or "past due field" available in the field list of the export. There is, however, a field called Number of Consecutive Missed Payments that I could use in writing an equation to figure out the delinquent amount. The problem is that when I did the export nothing exported into that column.

Does anyone know how to ge tthe Number of Consecutive Missed Payments field to populate in an export? Or does anyone one have a better way to due a custom "delinquency report"?

Package Performance results

Greetings,

I've made a report in CR that shows the package description, number of gifts and total gift amount. I have them grouped in specific orders and have them subtotaled by group (which is why the canned appeal analysis report doesn't work for me).

It is easy enough to use IF in this manner:

If {CnGf_1Note_1.CnGf_1Note_1_Actual_Notes} = "Host Committee 2008 - Gala" Then

"Host"

Else

" "

But what function could be used to see if the field contatins "Host" rather than equals? I need this to be more flexible than looking for "Host Committee 2008 - Gala".

The LEFT function works okay for this, but I think contains would be better.

Thanks!

Bryce

I export First/Last Name of the constituents and the name of individuals that are one kind of individual relationship.

When I open the .mdb file CR XI only sees CnRelind_1_01_Name, but not CnRelind_1_02_Name, etc...

Instead it puts the names from CnRelind_1_02_Name, etc. into the CnRelind_1_01_Name field for any records that DO NOT have any names in these relationships.

I have tried playing around with the linking, but being Crystal Reports does not see CnRelind_1_02_Name etc.. I think there is a more central issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
