  • Re: Edit Setup After Batch has been committed

I tried that but I didn't see the 'Hide/Show" column as an option.

  • Re: receipting multiple batches

Include: Batch Number = <ask>, Operator: "greater than or equal to" Value: 1900, filterd by the Fund 09926.  I am not sure if that info is clear enough but I'm not sure what else to say.  Which records to include is captured by the 'batch number is set to ask' and I wanted all spring mail receipts (Filters: ...

  • receipting multiple batches

I just attempted to post the following question in the "Export/Mail/Reports" section and I got a message about how the question needed to be approved by a moderator.  I have never gotten that message before.  Anyhow, I'm hoping that posting this question generally, rather than specifically, I may get a prompt ...

  • Receipting Multiple Batches

I attempted to run receipts in a range, that is: I asked for all type X receipts with batch # greater than 1900.  I expected to get about 75 receipts and instead I got 110.  Those extra receipts were from 5 or more years ago and they weren't even the type that I was asking for.  Ultimately, it took me far more time to clean up ...

  • Edit Setup After Batch has been committed

Is there a way to edit the batch setup after it has been committed?   I often hide many of the fields that I have pre-populated when I am entering data into a batch and almost as often, I forget to unhide the fields before I commit the batch.  The end result is that the fields that I have hidden are hidden forever more.   ...

  • Re: Constituent Codes in a batch

Based on your information, I have changed the coding from Constituent to an Appeal.  Aside from the fact that it is a more appropriate designation, it also makes it easier to do the data entry piece which is my more immediate concern.  However, I have now run into an issue with data entry.  Because the event wasn't a ...

  • Re: Constituent Codes in a batch

No, it wouldn't be the primary constituency code.  We would not want that code to supercede other codes that apply to the constituent rather than a single gift they gave.  Perhaps our organization is using the constituency codes wrong or there is a better way to do what we are trying to do.  We run this event annually and the ...

  • Constituent Codes in a batch

I have set up a batch template to input pledges from an annual event at our organization.  The problem I am having is that I have to manually add the constituent code and it is very time consuming.  We have had a student go through all the pledge forms and add the constituent numbers for all the pledges (which number in the thousands) ...
