  • Re: eReceipts in Custom Donation Form

By the way, here are my version numbers, if that helps: Raiser's Edge: 7.85.5026.3 BBNC: 5.6.131.2

  • Re: eReceipts in Custom Donation Form

Yes, the eReceipts work normally in the rest of the system. We have other donation forms (the standard part) that use eReceipts and those work fine. It's just the link in my own custom part that does not work.

  • eReceipts in Custom Donation Form

Hi all, I've made a couple of custom donation forms based on the excellent example Michael Andrews gave about a year ago: http://labs.blackbaud.com/NetCommunity/article?artid=654 However, I can't get the eReceipt functionality to work. On my custom donation form, I have a "<bbnc:HTMLEditor>" ...

  • QueryPicker in BBNC API does not return name

Hi all, I'm using the QueryPicker from BBNCExtensions.ServerControls, and I'm having trouble getting the name back from it. Here's the code on the display page: [CODE]<bbnc:QueryPicker id="queryPicker" runat="server" />[/CODE] Here's the code on the code ...

  • Custom part to view newly added Class Notes

Hello all, I want to create a custom part to pull newly added Class Notes into a small scrolling section on a page. What is the best way to access this info in the custom part? Should I use the RE web service, or is there a way to pull this info directly from BBNC that I'm missing? Thanks, George

  • Flash

I haven't put any flash files on our site yet, but this could work the same way as another method we use for putting other non-HTML content on our site. What we have done is just create a shared directory underneath the "Program Files\Blackbaud\NetCommunity" folder on the web server that BBNC sits on. That folder is shared on the ...

  • Custom User Controls - Image Files

I went back and looked at my custom part and saw that the images it uses are located in the same NetCommunity\Custom folder where the .ascx files are stored. In the HTML code, I just have the src attribute of the img tag pointing to its relative location. For example: src=''thisimage.jpg'' It probably makes more sense to at least create an ...

  • Google Analytics

If you have not already set up Google Analytics on your BBNC site, I suggest it. You can get a lot more information from it than the few website usage reports that come "out of the box" with BBNC. Here are the steps to set it up: 1. Go to http://www.google.com/analytics/  and create your account. - As a suggestion, I created one ...

  • How to build a Netcommunity test server?

As far as RE is concerned, you could do either one, standalone or networked version. However, to keep things simple, you might want to just do a standalone version and do all of your work on that machine. (This is what I have done.) But it should work either way. As for the BBNC database, when you use the install file for BBNC, it will create the ...
