  • Printing to PDF from Fundware 7.40 on Terminal Services

We are currently running Kintera Fundware 7.40 on a Windows Server 2003 terminal server.  My users want to be able to save their reports as PDF files.  I have been going around in circles with Adobe Acrobat and Terminal Services and Fundware for the last month.  As far as I can tell, there is a glitch with the Crystal Reports ...

  • Reporting on Gifts linked to Proposals

What is the best way to identify a gift that is linked to a proposal for reporting purposes?  I have a large number of proposals with associated gifts linked to them.  I need to generate a report that includes both proposal information, and information from the linked gift.  Thanks in advance for any insights and ...

  • Re: Field to use for tracking fund raising goals?

Melissa, Sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead.  I hope that you are subscribed to it.  I understand what you are saying about campaigns.  After taking some time to review our practices here, I am going to move our users to a more campaign centric model of fund raising.  I have a couple of questions about your ...

  • Re: Importing new proposals with attributes

Charlotte, Thank you for your reply.  I'm still a bit confused about the whole process.  I understand how to make the import files and I have done that.  All of that makes sense to me.  I am having problems understanding how to format the data that I have. I have a csv file that already has constituent IDs.  How do I ...

  • Importing new proposals with attributes

I did not see an "import" specific forum so I'm posting this query here. I want to import new proposals with proposal attributes.  In the past I did a two step process where I first imported the proposals, then did a second import to bring in the attributes.  My understanding is that it can be done in one single step, but ...

  • Multiple proposal notes

I'm working on a report that includes proposal information.  I have setup the export to export 10 "notes" for each proposal.  I have included the CnPrProp_1Note_1_Actual_Notes field in my report.  When I run the report it only returns the first note from the proposal.  I have tried to develop a subreport using ...

  • Re: Field to use for tracking fund raising goals?

Melissa, Thanks for the quick reply!  It seems like we are using Campaigns for a more specific purpose.  Looking at our campaign list we have things like Annual Operating 07, Annual Operating 08, etc. I setup a Proposal attribute that I am using to track the corresponding Pipeline. It does make sense to use campaigns as the highest ...

  • Field to use for tracking fund raising goals?

I have been tasked with developing some reports for the development department.  They have various pipelines to track the asks from different sources (individual, corporate, foundation, government, etc.)  Each pipeline has a total goal for the year.  That goal needs to be displayed on the report. Is there a standard, approved, ...

  • Re: Crystal Report Sub-Report

Thanks for mentioning grouping.  I think that is going to solve the problem.

  • Re: Crystal Report Sub-Report

I have half answered my own question.  I included the CnPrProp_2 table in the subreport and joined the CnProp_2Note_1 table to that.  Then I joined CnPrProp_2 to CnPr in the main report.  That worked to get rid of the duplication of the proposals.  Now I have a new problem.  Each proposal shows the notes from seperate ...
