    Very Unusual Donor Reciepts

We are considering implementing RE, and still in the process of evaluating it along with a couple other products.

We are a ministry with about 50 staff members around the country who do their own fund raising to support their work.  One thing that our organization does, which I think is very unusual or maybe altogether unique, is we have our staff members send out receipts to their donors directly.  We receive and process donations centrally, and then generate PDFs twice a week and e-mail these PDFs to staff.  They then print the receipts on letterhead and add a personal hand-written note.

Is this process easy to set up in RE?

Here's the catch:  if a donor contributes to more than one staff member, is it possible to generate receipts for each staff member with only the total amount given to him, so that he can't see how much the other staff members may receive from this donor?

Thanks to anyone for feedback...I poked around these forums looking for an answer, but didn't see anything...

    Trey,

I do something similar for our branch YMCAs.  I process and generate the receipts through the Mail function in RE.  I send them by email to the branch (60 miles away), they print on their letterhead, sign, add note and whatever.  I send them a file for printing the envelopes, too.  When gifts are entered, a fund is required and that is what I filter on for our different receipts.  GIft to branch XYZ, gets receipt for branch XYZ with branch XYZ exec signature.

You may have to enter amount for each staff member as separate gifts in the batch to generate separate receipts.  "Split gift" I believe still runs total amount into one receipt.

    Hope that might help.
