 new to RE.  took the trainings and am attempting to create a conditional mail merge.  I have a stewardship letter with 2 versions (support v. interest).  The conditional field is constituent code (I have 9 codes) which basically determines a current supporter v. propsect.  I've tried exporting and creating the files that way but I'm getting stuck.

Hi, Katrina. You may want to take a look at BB97809, which has step-by-step instructions--including screen shots--for creating a conditional merge letter using the Mail Merge Wizard in Export. You'll want to create a constituent export and choose Blackbaud Conditional Word Merge as the export format. Also, be sure to include constituent code (long or short description) as one of the Output fields so you can select it as the conditional field.
