sending group e-mail from RE vs copy & pasting e-mail list into outlook

We just got outlook 2 weeks ago.  Later today we are going to play with sending group e-mails from RE.  Would anyone care to share their preferred way of doing it?    Say, you want to send to your board members, would you do that out of RE, or would you create a distribution list in Outlook?  At a previous organization, I would cut and paste the e-mails in Outlook and send them, then go back and globally add a action. If you send to a group from RE, does it show everyone's e-mail, where as if you cut and paste it into outlook you can BCC everyone?   Maybe everyone prefers doing it out of RE, which is fine, I am just trying to find pros and cons to both ways.  Thanks for your help!

You can BC in RE and select who you want the emails to go to by using queries.

Afterwards, you can globally add an action.

I think that it is faster that cutting & pasting once you get the hang of it.
