Hello all! My organization is currently going through the process of converting from our existing ticketing system to Patron's Edge - Blackbaud's ticketing system. We've had Raiser's Edge for about five years and Financial Edge for about three years. I am working on cleaning up my data before it is integrated with the data from the ticketing system. I would love to get adivce or feedback from any of you who have either added Patron's Edge to your Blackbaud suite, or who have added another Blackbaud product that shared a database like these two programs do. If there are things that you did that were helpful, or things you wish you had done, I'm happy to hear it all!
All I am doing right now is cleaning up my address tables, phone number tables and address/salutation tables so that we have less choices and hopefully can keep some semblance of an organized database. I've worked very hard to get my database in a state when I think that it is organized and I'm very concerned about suddenly having a bunch of data from the box office (which I know is currently veeeeery messy) with my beloved records.
