    Pivot reports and Windows 200 pro on server

    We have Win XP Pro on our workstations and RE 7.84.  Our server is Win 2000 pro.  We can not get the pivot reports to work.  This error message keeps coming up -
    The query could not be processed:
    o Errors in the OLE DB provider. Could not connect to the redirector. Ensure that the SQLBrowser service is running on the '"C:\DOCUME~1\User\LOCALS~1\Temp' server.

    o Errors in the OLE DB provider. An error occurred while named instance information was being retrieved from the SQLBrowser service on the '"C:\DOCUME~1\User\LOCALS~1\Temp' server.

     Is the problem Win 2000 pro?  We use Office 2007 on our workstations, but can't install on Win 2000 pro.

     Any Ideas?

    Well, did you check whether SQL Browser Service is started (as the error msg suggest)?
