    Dashboard for tracking attendance

    Hi -

Has anyone in this forum created a dashboard to track attendance? Students with most tardies, absences, etc?

I haven't done it yet - but I'm thinking about it.

Our teachers enter attendance through FAWeb. I have a one of the canned reports set up for the secretary at each campus to run so they can then call on any student marked as absent without a corresponding call to the school.  I'm thinking of a dashboard for two things -  a report that shows students who normally buy hot lunch who are absent for the day.  We have lunch recorded as an attribute - with each student's choice entered as a description.  I'm thinking I can filter by those choices.

My other thought about a dashboard would be to show students with a cumulative number of absences or tardies over the tolerance threshold.  Once school lets out on June 13 - I'm going to start working on these.  I'll post back here if I meet with success.
