This is Janet from Vancouver, Canada, and this is my first time on the boards.
I've been working with Raiser's Edge for about six months, personally, though our organization was an early adopter of this software. The thing is, we have recently gone live with NetCommunity, and are running into some processing issues. Right now, we are having trouble bringing company matching gift pledges on NetCommunity to Raiser's Edge. Specifically, it won't allow us to bring it over electronically. Any thoughts?

It would be helpful to get a little more information. At this point in time, processing a gift that has a linked matching gift is different from processsing any other gifts through the plugin. Each gift with a matching gift pledge needs to processed individually; however, it can be added to a current uncommitted batch. To do this, use Tools, Transaction Options to set the next processed transaction to be added to an existing batch. Then process the gift with the matching gift using the process transaction, not the bulk processing.

If you have the latest NetCommunity update you shouldn't have to process matching gifts separately, bulk processing should work.
A problem that I was running into was that you do need to create a relationship between the donor and the matching gift company in RE before you can process the matching gift. So if this is the first time the donor has had their gift matched make sure to create the relationship. Hopefully that should work!
