Increase Efficiency to Offset Economic Slow Down

The April issue of Fundraising Well discusses a few ways to help nonprofits weather the financial storms during this economic slow down. It talks about some general guidelines to follow and offers a few specifics on ways to improve efficiencies in these tumultuous times. We certainly didn't cover everything and would love to hear your thoughts on the subject matter. Feel free to post any specific tips, advice, success stories, best practices, or questions you may have.

Our director had us look into an article on the front page of NonProfit Times, entitled "Going Flat Raises ROI," regarding publications and maiings with the new cost of postal rates due to go up.  The article is very informative on how to save money for organizations, by reformatting mailing and publication sizes in the design stage, and keeping them within the letter size as opposed to flats or periodicals.

Thank you for the information and direction you provide as well.
