Hello, I have a question regarding 1099's, this is the first year we will have to file our 1099-Misc electronically and I'm wondering if our software version is compatible with the requirements for the State of Connecticut. We currently are using Financial Edge version 7.70.638.0027. The file that Blackbaud will create in AP, will it work for the State. I have been looking at the requirements for the State of Connecticut and see how each record needs to be formatted in ASCII a specific way i.e. $5,550.99= 000000550099, does the created Blackbaud file do this automatically?? I'm conerned because we have always paper filed and want to make sure the Blackbaud file is what their looking for when we upload the file to them. If someone can assure me that we are compatible I'd appreciate it, you have any questions let me know.
