Hi I'm wondering if anyone else has come upon this situation and how to handle it. We have had multiple donors recently give money (either in memory of someone or on behalf of someone) and then request that the tax receipt be issued in the name of the next of kin or the person it was on behalf of. Like they want the tax receipt itself to be a gift to someone else. Are we allowed to do that? Btw I am in Canada. Thanks!
