I've been working on configuring EE courses and using a student for testing/screen shots, so far so good, but looking for pearls of wisdom. This is our second year to use it. We have them enter their course requests via FA Web and then we go from there. We are looking for a way to restrict some of our financial holds to view their schedules on line. Have you come across this? Kathy Kasper [Email Removed]

We go in and "uncheck" the box on the relations record for "view Net classroom" so their parents can't view it and then in the student record, we add "hold" to the end of their password so they can't log in and if someone tries to look it up for them, they will see the "hold" as part of the password. I also "flag" their record with a "note" that opens when someone opens the record that lets you know there is a hold. Then, when it is all paid up, we switch it all back...

I see that this will be a new feature in an update coming soon. We used to change the password for the students on hold by adding a note like HOLD before the password. Now we have them access NetClassroom through NetCommunity and we use targeted content to restrict entry to NetClassroom.
