My organization is preparing to move to Office 2007 next year, and I was wondering if any RE users have already made this change. Are there any RE/Office 2007 compatibility issues that anyone has experienced? Tim Chamberlain University of Texas System [Email Removed] (512) 499-4312

We have had Office07 since this summer and we have the most recent version of RE. Office products no longer come with Com add-ins installed. So, you have to separately install some MS items if you want to have Outlook and RE be integrated. Even after doing so I have yet to have the integration for actions/emails etc. function. But, I stopped spending time on it. I'll get frustrated enough again to revisit it. Other than that the products are compatible. Excellent--that's exactly the kind of thing I needed to know. I'll give our IT folks the heads up. Thanks for the help! Tim Chamberlain University of Texas System [Email Removed] (512) 499-4312

This is not good for business! I don't think I want to change anytime soon. We use the Actions/Emails function quite a bit. RaShell Peterson Manager, Advancement & Research Services Oregon Institute of Technology 541-885-1131 [Email Removed]

I was in no way implying I would not have upgraded. I just don't have an IT department that can easily handle all those issues. We are user dependent on trouble shooting etc. Hope that helps. I hope I can be of some help in the coming weeks. We're definitely moving to Office 2007, but not Vista just yet. Our contract guarantees compatibility, so this may end up getting kicked back up to Blackbaud. However, I'll be working with our IT group to try and get things working. I'll be sure to follow up here if and when I have some new information. Tim Chamberlain University of Texas System [Email Removed] (512) 499-4312
