I have data security concerns about Query and Export. While I don't have access to data on the records tabs that my school prevents me from seeing, I can see almost all of the data in EE (except Social Security Numbers) through Query and Export. I don't work with HR or Financial aid and I shouldn't have access to it, but I can get to all of their data through Query and Export. I do work with sensitive testing data that shouldn't leave my office, but every EE user has access to my data through Query and Export. Blackbaud support said that they logged my concern, but didn't know about this being on the list of design changes, presumably because not enough people have expressed concern. If you have a concern, can you let Blackbaud know so that we can get this addressed in future versions? Hi. Are you sure your permissions are set-up correctly? I have 2 logins, one which does not have rights to Financial Aid information. While I can create the export, when I try to run the export it tells me I do not have permission.

I've narrowed my concern to Query. Export does prevent unauthorized users from accessing information, but Query doesn't. I'd love to know if you find anything different. Scott

Interesting ... again, in my profile that doesn't allow me to view Financial Aid I can't Query on it -- it isn't even a choice. Are you seeing this in a student Query? ~Rachel
