Once you integrate RE and PE the merge function changes in RE. You will have to merge the whole record and then that record will be deleted. Sometimes the box office will put a donation into the spouse record and soft-credit the primary record. I wanted to merge just the gifts but this function is no longer possible. I understand that it has been filed as a suggestion to return to the RE way of merging.
