We are in the process of improving our application. We currently do not have any question regarding parental custody. We are considering adding 2 check boxes under each parent; one for Sole legal custody of student and one for Joint legal custody. If you get this information, how do you use it? We noticed that there is a box on the student record under Relations, Address/More that states Relation has Legal Custody, but so far we've always left this blank. that is exactly where we do post it. student lives with, or does not live with this parent or that one we then ask on the "student profile" sheets if there is another parent and what rights they have or not... what infor they should or should not receive, so forth and so on
