Scheduling Help

We are ready for scheduling the next academic year (2007-08). We have never tried the Blackbaud's automated scheduler and would like to do so. Has anyone else got some tips that we could use, that would be great. Could you give me the steps to start with (how to apply course rules etc)? Some rules for our Scheduling: Each period is 40 minutes; a double period will therefore last 80 minutes. If a course meet 3 times a week, then they should meet across four days (eg. Mon, Tues and Thurs; or Thurs, Fri and Tues etc) If a course meets 2 times a week, then they should meet across three days (eg. Mon and Wed etc) If HL and SL has same teacher/set then schedule the courses together. Schedule the Maths courses first: Mutually exclusive Gd 12 block 1 cannot meet with block 5 Teachers within a block should meet at the same time. Thanks
