    Trimester scheduling

    Our school is considering switching from semesters to trimesters, from 8 periods/day to 5 periods/day. I have a few questions and concerns regarding the actual scheduling and would like to speak with someone who already uses this 3x5 format.

    I don't quite use this format, but we are on Trimester schedules. We have trimester electives for 11th and 12th graders and yearlong courses for all 9-12 graders. I just set up marking columns to reflect the periods whem grades and or comments are given/
