    TntMPD - linking

We are considering using a small utility called TntMPD to help our individual staff members in their individual fund raising goals (we all must raise the funds to pay for our salaries). Has anyone used this utility alongside Raiser's Edge? Would you be willing to share what you did and how you transfer information from RE to TntMPD? I know of the application you are talking about. We have a similar setup, and have considered using TntMPD (from Campus Crusade for Christ, right?) We are just starting with RE, but if we decide to eventually use TnMPD, I will let you know so we can trade notes. I believe that application was written indipendantly by some CCC member. I'm sure someone from Crusade can probably help you out. I don't think it is specific to their data. Either way, let me know if you succeed. I would very much like to know how it goes. Yes, it is the Campus Crusade for Christ software; they gave us permission to use it. They use it with their web site to download donors and gifts for the employee's use in tracking support raising. However, there is also an option of creating a "DataSync" file that can be e-mailed to staff that will sync their personal copy of TntMPD with the most recent giving. My main problem is how to automate the creation of those files to send to our staff, either through RE:VBA or RE:Open. I haven't spent enough time on it yet to know which is the best way to go. I would love to share notes, if you decide to go with it. If I do get some code written that works, I'd be willing to share it with anyone who wants it. Or if I can find someone at CCC who can help with this, I'll share that, too. Sincerely, David Drees Director of Technology Kingdom Building Ministries Denver, Colorado [Email Removed]

I was able to get some linking between RE 7.61 and TntMPD. If anyone is interested, I'd be glad to share what I did. You may e-mail me off-forum, if you desire. Sincerely, David Drees Director of Technology Kingdom Building Ministries Denver, Colorado [Email Removed]
