    Multiple Columns in Crystal Reports

Does anyone know how to format data over several columns. I want the data to wrap up to the next column. My goal is to get all of the data on one sheet without making the font extreemely small.

Sherry, In Crystal, when you create a new report, hit [blue]Custom[/blue], then select [blue]Custom Multi Report[/blue]. Once you select your datasource, it should take you to the form that allows you to format the detail section. On the [blue]Layout[/blue] tab, you can indicate how wide you want each column, how much gap between each... After that, you will notice that your Page/report headers and footers are the entire page with, but the detail section has the column width you specified in the layout tab. To add to what I posted earlier... You don't really have create a new report and select the Multiple Columns custom report. If your report already exists, you can modify it. First thing you have to do is right click on the detail section and select format section. In the Section expert, under the common tab, select [blue]Format with multiple columns[/blue]. This adds the layout tab. From here, if you want to know what the specific fields do, hit the Help button on the form. Thank you. That helps because I didn't want to have to redo the report. Do you know how to get the column headings to go over to the new additional columns. My data is now wrapping into several columns but the columns headings are only on the first section.

To the extent of my Crystal knowledge, you cannot devide a page header into columns. However, nothing stops you from repeating the same header yourself across the page header... Ex: [b]Name[tab]Name[tab]Name[/b] The downfall to this is you might have a header in a column with no data.
