Can anyone tell me how to IMPORT new students and new parents and assign the parents as PAYER for a given student?

Do you have Registrat's Office and/or Admissions Office? We enter students through Admissions Office and enter them on a person-by-person basis. There does appear to be a way to IMPORT students through Admissions Office. Under "Administration" there is a section called "Import Records" and that is where you would import them. There is a way to create an "Import File" which defines the fields you need to enter, and then you import that file. As for assigning a parent as a Payer, you need to first define the relationships between the parent and student in Admissions Office and then in Student Billings, under the "Payer" tab on each student's record, that is where you set who is responsible to pay.
