EFT and who?

What other Organizations are using EFT? Was the set up easy? User friendly? Average gift? Complaints?

    EFT and who?

I have been using EFT for three years. I started with it in RE:6 as recurring gifts; and then converted to RE:7, where I use it with EFT pledges. The # of donors selecting this pay method has grown from about 150 the first (partial) year to about 2000 now. The average gift size is $40.00 per month. We process files twice per month (the 1st and 15th). The average file size is about $40,000.00. We provide an authorization form for credit cards and direct debits, explaining our policy for EFT's and the date choice for their transaction to occur. (Happy to provide a copy if you email me directly.) The direct debits are submitted to our bank one business day in advance and we receive the deposit the next day. The credit card file is transmitted the actual transaction date, and then settled at the end of the day via IC Verify. We receive the funds immediately upon settlement. This is a great tool. We are always looking for ways to promote this with our donors. We always mention this payment option and include an authorization form with our appeals, direct maiings, etc. We also have a note in our monthly newsletter to encourage donors to call to request more information, or click a link to print our form online. We also are beginning to offer the choice to make a monthly contribution through the RE:Net Solutions / Net Donor link on our website. --- Edited at 9/24/2003 4:30:46 PM by
