    Address Accelerator

i just got the NCOA updated data back from blackbaud, i used their DCASS service to get rid of all the abbreviations, but the cities still came back abbreviated. So blackbaud suggested to try their address accelerator to fix all the addresses. I was wondering if anyone has used this product, and would be able to give me their input. We've used the address acelerator for the last 3 years. A CD comes every two months. (Use to be called Addr Validation). It does, however, still abbreviate cities. Not sure this would really solve your problem. We also use it right before we send our addresses in for an NCOA update. Same problem. Kathy L

Hello- In the newest version (7.8) you can know setup how you would like to see the addresses once they are validated, it is in Business Rules, you can have it be USPS normal, where everything is abbreviated, there are a few different formats you can choose from now. So, you could possibly fix the problem with the new version. Renee A. Klish Systems Database Analyst Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit 248.642.4260 x388
