We have sponsors of dinners and am looking for documentation on how much is tax deductible? I am told in the past if a sponsor paid $1,000 towards a benefit dinner, they would receive 100% credit as a donation. Now I'm told we need to deduct the cost of the dinner. Does anyone have any documention on this?
