How do other high school or colleges handle acknowledgement letters of gifts made with one check to two different funds? We want to only print one letter. Now I export from Mail, Donor Acknowledgement Letters, and choose the fund and gift amount and date. After the letters are merged I cut and paste the inforation about one fund into the other letter. There has to be a more efficient way. Any thoughts?

If you are running acknowledgment letters through RE:Mail, in the fields to export under fund name there is an option to specify how many funds to export per gift. This will work if you are splitting your gift between funds. If you are entering a gift for each fund (as we did at my previous position because of campaign reporting issues) you may want to check with support on how to run consolidated acknowledgement letters (similiar to consolidated receipts). Hope this helps, Elaine Elaine Tucker Stewardship Coordinator St. Mark's School of Texas www.smtexas.org [Email Removed]
