    Linking RE 7, EE & SB 7

I would like to hear from any of you who have linked RE 7, EE & SB7. I just got a call from our business manager and we are heading that direction. What are the pros and cons with doing this. I just can't see how it can be linked correctly and I'm worried about all the clean up that I'm going to have to do. Speaking of clean up - do your institutions have one person in charge of making changes? We've always been sticklers about consistency in our department and I know for a fact, the other two departments aren't and I'm afraid of what the end result is going to be. Any input about this would be great appreciated Melinda Waers Database Administrator Pembroke Hill School

We have successfully converted to EE and are in the process of attaching the billing database as well. If you'd like to talk about the billing conversion, contact me at 212.994.2622.

This may not answer your question - but in preparation for RE 7, EE and SB7 integration, we have pulled together a committee comprised of representatives from each department/division (following the Integration Planning Guidelines). We have had one meeting so far, and have reviewed phone types. This week we will look at address entry. I think we were all surprised at how many times we all handle the same data. With greater communication between departments and a good understanding of what data needs to be mapped/linked - I think this integration will be an enormous timesaver for us.
