Getting event registrant info for development purposes

    Who I'm looking for:
BB clients with two seperate departments (one for preparing events and another for pure Development fundraising) using the Events and/or Volunteer modules or NetEvents and/or NetVolunteers to process event registrant fees and constituent info and volunteer info.

    Info I'm looking for:
How do each of your departments work cooperatively to maximize efficient use of the RE-modules or NetEvents/NetVolunteer applications for storing, processing, and retrieving information on event registrants, corporate sponsors, and vendors for various events?

    More Specifically...
    - Is bio information captured from event attendees and volunteers? If so how much? Does it depend upon the registration vehicle (form versus walk-ins)? Does it depend upon the cost of the event? Does it depend upon what was used to pay the fee (cash, credit card, or check)?

    - Does your Events department enter sufficient information into RE or NetEvents (e.g. spouse info, address phone, email etc.) to assist the Development office in coordinating future coorespondence to the attendees?

    - How collaboratively do your Development and Event Offices work towards capturing as much information from event attendees for future Developmental fundraising endeavors? How much is facilitated by working on the same software platform (i.e. sharing RE Event, Volunteer modules and/or NetEvents, NetVolunteers)

Additionally, if anyone is willing to share forms, policies, and procedures relevant to the above, it would be sincerely appreciated.

    Regards,
