I just converted to FE 7.2 and had to change my account structure to proceed with the conversion. RE7.6 does not recognize the changes account and will not post to the g/l. My account structure went from xx-x-xx-xxx-xx to xx-x-xx-xxxxx. Has anyone else come across this problem? What should I do? Jeff, If all else fails post your entries to a CSV file. Load the CSV file into Excel. Use a lookup table to convert your old file numbers to the new file numbers and then import the entries in to FE 7.2. We used a similar process to import the entries from our old GL system into BB. That way we were able to get historical numbers into the GL.
