I am trying to get a list of the batches posted to the g/l for the month of Sept. irregardless of when they were created. The batch summary report gives the calendar posting date which could be a g/l posting for other months besides Sept.Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanx.

Try running a query using a last change date between 9/1/2005 and 9/30/2005.

Thanx for responding so quickly. I tried your suggestion and I seem to get a line by line listing of the batch activity. What I am looking for is a report that lists the batch header description and batch # in a given month irregardless of when it was created. This should be a one line entry for each batch.

A little additional work, but I think it will give you the results you want. Run the same query using the LCD. Criteria should be LCD between 9/1/2005 and 9/30/2005 and batch status is posted. Select fields, Batch number and description. Under File, Options, select suppress duplicate records. (I couldn't tell if this suppressed the duplicate). Export to Excel and use the advance filter to select on unique records. To be on the safe side, I always copy to another range/location. You should then only have one line per batch. Hope this helps.
