Please let me know your experiences in integrating the Business Offfice and Development Office data base(s). Are you using RE version 6 or 7? Do you also share a data base with admissions and/or academic registrar? Any information you have to share will be greatly appreciated

Hi We too are looking at how best to integrate with other systems in our case Front of House, Marketing and Finance. We are using version 7.5. We are going to be working with Blackbaud and a consultant to find the best solution for us. We are still in the early stages but please get in touch if you would like to discuss. I'd like very much to talk about this. What kind of other systems are people using? We use MIP finance software, and so far as I can tell the link between RE7 and MIP, while not entirely seamless, shouldn't be too tough. We have a consultant coming on site in 2 weeks to help us with implementation of our RE system. I'm very interested to see what you mean about Marketing and "Front of House" integration. Do you have software systems you need to integrate? Or are you working with office policy and procedure? By Front of House, do you mean your admissions, etc? We're a multidisciplinary arts organization, so in addition to needing to track gallery admission, we also need to keep tabs on people who come to our performances. We are a Banner Student Information System shop.
The Foundation Office uses RE 7.5.
We interface by extracting from Banner via sql scripts to .cvs
files and IMPORTing into RE.
...haven't put data from RE to Banner...but that is simple.

Let me know what solutions you use/will use to work with Admission/Registration/Student data & interfaces.
