We are looking at improving our relationship management and as a first step trying to get all the various databases we use to talk to each other. I would be very interested in talking with anyone else who has done this or even pieces of this. The various relationships we have identified that currently have distinct databases are: ticketbuyers, donors, members, group ticket purchasers, facilities rental clients, volunteers, employees, and vendors. Raisers Edge with the volunteer and membership modules and Financial Edge with payroll and accounts payable should be able to handle everything but ticket purchasers and facilities renters. Has anyone else integrated data related to either of these with RE/FE , and if so with what software? For those of you currently using the volunteer or membership modules or Financial Edge, are you happy with the integration or has it caused more problems than it solved. I would also be interested in hearing from anyone who is successfully using some kind of bridge software to interface RE with a third party software to manage these other relationships.
