I want to be able to print a simple list of students' names after I have printed out their statements. This avoids the need for an entire copy of the statement, which in some instances I don't need. If I print out 200 statements, but don't need the copies, I DO want a list of 200 names showing me the students whose statements I have just printed. You could create a query from the activity page using the field of date of last statement. Make the date of last statement equal to the date you ran the statements. I use a query before running bills/statements because I do not send bills to accounts that have a zero balance. I run the query by changing the date every month and then run the bills. Works like a charm. You could do the same every month and it should work. Hope this helps and good luck.

Eileen, thanks for your suggestion, but an ageing won't give me this info I want. It's not uncommon for me to send statements to families out of the regular billing cycle. Since our Principal and Administrator take an interest in overdue accounts, they often wish to know how often I have contacted the family to request payment. Donna, I have been attempting your method and am unable to do it. In Query, I do not have the student activity field on my list of choices to sort on. Could you give some baby-step-by-step directions? Obviously I need to led by the hand. However, this is a static query. Whenever I create this query, then attempt to open it, I am simple unable to; no list appears on my "open" command, but only a change window. What's going on here? I also need step-by-step instructions for this. I am unable to open a static query with any results. Why save these static queries if you are unable to get into them or print them? They have been useless to me, so I quit saving them. If they could be opened and printed - voila! There's your list of statements run.

There is a feature you may want to use when you make a special contact such as a phone call. I use the Annotate feature. I have it appear when the student or parent file is opened. I always put the newest one on the top. I date the entry, put my comment, then my initals. This way, anyone who opens the file can see what I have been doing with the account.
